Sometimes people are afraid to say i love you because of rejection, regardless of how you've made how you feel known.Also, saying that he loves you may be a huge deal for him. Some people don't say 'i love you' for years and years, as it's a very serious thing to some. I've been known to casually throw around the term love. He may feel exactly the same as you but not consider what he feels to be love, doesn't mean that he doesn't care any less. If you're that worried you can try talking to him. Best of luck.

aww you guys sound so cute! but i understand it tho i am rlly bad with saying "i love you" i agree with the first answer that he might think you'll reject him.. but for me its because i have never been ready lolsome people are just more reluctant with it than others, just stay with him and wait til he is ready :)

Hard to say......some people just can't bring themselves to say what they feel....sounds like he is very fond of you..yet, he may not be "in love". Most country boys (which I include myself) are slow to communicating true feelings...relationships are complicated enough. Only thing that will help you get the right answer is time and his actions. WOW, sounds like you guys are perfect for each other!I think he does love you! Im a guy and i know how hard it is for us to say it.
sit him down in private and coax it out of him but dont pressure him, be all lovey duvy with him, hug him etc (thats how i would like to be treated when i tell my gf i love her, it will help ease my nerves)

just make sure you treat him well if he treats you well. just because he doesnt say he loves you doesnt mean he doesnt really love you, its just hard to say it, you know?
